Watched Duck Dynasty the other night, though I'd laugh myself silly at Willy breaking into the wine business. If you haven't seen it...........get ready for a good laugh.

The whole thing was manufactured by the show. He didn't actually by a winery. The "expert" they showed owns the winery, has since 99, never had it for sale. If you look up the vineyard there in west Monroe, its the same place.

The things these TV guys think people want to see.

I figured it was scripted obviously the whole thing is, because if they ran the business the way it is depicted on the show they'd be out of business real quick. I just thought that the wine thing was a funny story. I know the people that own the property that they got busted for frogging/trespassing. That had to be staged as well...

Yeah, the whole thing is just for TV. I forgot you were from over there too. I grew up in Crossett, just north of the Louisiana border. Made it down to Monroe at least once a week for something or other.

duckboy- you grew up in Crossett? Used to duck hunt at Seven Devils swamp and Overflow NWR years back....got a lot of friends in Lake Village over by the river there...pretty cool area to be for anyone who enjoys the outdoors/hunting...

My uncle retired from the GP plant in Crossett, hate the sweet pungent smell of the pulp wood mills.

You ever run across the border go through the drive thru at the liquor store and get a mixed drink in a styrofoam cup? Jungle juice and an extra shot...
